If the government had a spine they would just ensure the 'persons of interest' would be on their way to meet their shit pretendy God sooner than they planned.

He spends all his obsessing over people and looking for bites. To do it on this subject shows he really is the lowest of the low.
Using a disaster like this, to get a few likes on a forum. I'm embarrassed I've bit, but his constant goading of my hiding behind anomity on the Internet.

I apologise for taking this thread away from the real issues people.

I was gonna start another thread but I'll put this in here.. My dad came in from work today and told me this, a bloke he works with told him about one of his wife's friends was shopping in the metro centre yesterday and she unknowingly dropped her purse. A woman in a burker picked it up and gave it to her and as a gesture she tried to give the woman some money as a thank you but the woman wouldn't take it so they went their differant ways. A while later she bumped in to her again at a coffee shop and asked if she could buy her a coffee and a cake as she was very thankful for the return on the purse, again the woman refused... Then the lady in the burker said to the lass don't come here over Christmas...... Thinking that was a strange thing to say She obviously contacted the police... Now the bloke that told my dad this isn't the kind of guy to make shit up, only a month or so back he was in the paper for saving a drowning kid... Make of the above what you want....
i reckon the feller who saved the drowning kid has let the glory, the adulation there, gan to his head mate. it's like a drug being a hero iirc

There are some strange things about this attack. Same as with the hebdo incident. But this neither the time or the place to air such views. Rip to the innocent slain

One thing I will say is I'm not surprised it happened on Friday the 13th. Major attacks like this always occur on days significant to a certain section of society.

The little conspiracy bell has rang a few times for me today tbh, the constant reports the killers were calm and detached. I know what actually happened before anyone starts, I'm more leaning toward the killers are brainwashed and zombiefied by IS, they truly believe they are walking into paradise, not surrounded in the blood of dead innocents at their hands.

Again. Impossible. Insane.

The poster I banner called another poster a c*nt and when I picked him up on it he called me a zenophobe basically for daring to having a differing view.

Please provide quotes if this isn't the case?

I didn't know that being a moderator excluded you from being called a zeonphobe, I didn't realise that if someone has a view different to you they can be told "bye" I think you were over the top and it was unjustified, I think you know this too but he got under your skin a bit and you abused your mod powers.

The Nazi's were invading our immediate neighbours and were an immediate threat. They were given an ultimatum regarding Poland and they didnt heed the warning. That is in no way comparable to what has happened in the Middle East where we were the aggressor. At no point did Iraq represent any danger to us, nor had they threatened to invade their neighbours (they were dealt with quite lawfully when they did encroach into Kuwait). We sparked an utter shitfest out there and we are still suffering the consequences of that madness.

Remind me Neville, who are our immediate neighbours?

He didn't remotely get under my skin thanks.

In the middle of a decent and lively debate he told another poster they were a c*nt. That maybe his and your idea of debating but it's not allowed on here.

Perhaps I should warned him for it but instead I just threw it into the conversation instead.

Did he apologise? No, he just accussed me of throwing my weight about and called me a zeonphobe.

Is that libelous? Possibly and I don't take kindly to it. Frankly we don't need posters with no tolerance of others preaching tolerance to mods when they're out of order themselves.

If you don't agree that's fine, it's a free country and I'm happy to debate without resorting to name calling.

Of course you are, you can ban people at any minute without warning

Some people have called others names here, including the post directly above but you don't ban people for calling each other names, we're adults.
