Sunderland has some class parks like.......mostly donated by the rich folks such as the Williamsons and the Thompsons.

If only the Thompsons of today were so noble and full of largesse

The park mentioned in the OP is very nice like and Saltwell park is topper but we have a real abundance in Sunderland.

Aye Sunderland only had one of the biggest airshows on the continent over the weekend, attracting hundreds of thousands of people but you sandies have got a decent park for the charvers to drink in
