I played a star wars game back in the late 90's, early 2000's.

It was where you are working for your family in space transporting goods etc and you family are captured or killed and you join the rebellion fighting in space.

Can't for the life of me remember what it was called? Any ideas?

Jedi Knight?
Nar it was set in space as in always in a ship. Start of the game you have to move containers and do mundane civilian work then somehow the empire get involved and they slaughter your family.
You are then with the rebellion and are on a big ship where your x-wing is and you have a quarters where you can see your trophies and medals you've won etc.

Edit. Found it!

Alliance, as good as it was, wasn't a patch on the original X-Wing/TIE fighter games.

They need to make a new one tbh.

Are the ones on the 360 good? The Force Unleashed I think they're called.

Aye I had the first one but never finished it, class just using the force and flinging storm troopers about. Especially when they hold on to each other.

^ That. X-Wing and Tie Fighter were f***ing brilliant, way ahead of their time.

I was just thinking the other night about playing through all of these again, but would probably kill my memories of them being so great at the time! Oh the music blasting out of my 386's soundblaster card (with little battery operated speakers) with 2 megs of memory pushing it to the limit

Alliance was canny as the graphics were improved but I don't remember the story being as good. Think Tie Fighter had the best one. You get to fly the Millenium Falcon (or similar) in Alliance if I remember rightly!?

Cheers lads. I'm bidding on them on eBay.

Think someone uploaded all of the series a few weeks back on the torrent boards.

You know, if they advertised that now as a new game I'd be itching to play it. Think I bought Alliance years later off ebay as I never played it (mate had it and so only played it a little and didnt have a *joystick).

*played the first 2 with mouse and keyboard, killed many a mouse on them!

Jedi Knight Academy, Phantom Menace, Jedi Power Battles, then they went shit.

Ep 3 was actually OK on the Xbox though. Mainly just for the dueling with a few mates.

Oh and obviously can't forget the masterpieces that were Battlefront 1 & 2.
