Having read what's been said and had a look at the app I agree it does seem like a load of bollocks.
However it was the first I'd heard of it and thought I'd try and warn others who may not have heard.
My mistake for diving in.
As for thinking it was the police, I didn't make it up but I was obviously mistaken or misheard. Again my apologies.

you reckon?

So the local safeguarding board is not to be trusted, are clueless and innapropriate to look after children, as they cannot tell the difference between an obvious easy to check hoax and a real life threat?

It's actually pretty serious. As mentioned here they can leave themselves open to legal proceedings if the venor of this software believes they have damaged their brand. Surely any publication by a group like these would be given the once over by at least a legal secretary?

I heard that story over six years ago

Funnily enough. Around 6 years ago a mate if mine did get jabbed with a hypodermic needle on a stag weekend in Liverpool. Sharp pain in his arm whilst stood beside the bar in a nightclub, looked down and it was just hanging out if his arm.

Never caught the lad/lass that did it, nor did he catch anything but it does happen.

Quick heads up for you all lads; the penis inspector is doing the rounds today, he's just been in to the office for a quick spot-check. Thankfully everything was in order for me.

what part of she works in child care and therefore must take threats seriously does the SMB not understand?

Not entirely sure "check google before taking things at face value" comes up in the world of safeguarding children.

Surely taking it seriously would be to call the police to check the validity of the email before forwarding it to anyone and everyone?

Definitely not suitable for kids if it's pictures of bollocks.

It came from the safeguarding board so is completely legit. They call the shots apparently and schools dance to their tune.

So I see. I hadn't read that when replying.

The safeguarding board need their bumps felt if this is the kind of shit they knowingly circulate without doing any kind of research first.

Whats the official name & address for this organisation?

They should not be sending out false info like that, we should all get on to complain.

Well at least wait until you hear through official channels. I was trying to help fellow forum users with what I thought was an unknown threat.
