Why did we start singing this? I first heard it at Everton away but why did we adopt it?

obviously because back then we were in deep shit and were going to need a miracle if we didnt get some sort of result over the xmas period.

I miss "lets all have a disco" and im sure there was as song something about blind faith that escapes me, we sang it under o'neil and bruce i think

If we stay up and win the cup .... after having already done the double against the scum, do we have to stop singing it?

Is there a song called "things can't really get much better"?

Came on radio when I was driving up for the match near Birmingham.

Either a good omen or someone off here rang in and requested it!

No, we can go on to win the title, then the champions league
They can only get better ;)

2500 fans blasting it out at the Scum was a phenomenal thing. Hairs standing on end. Superb
Aye but wether it is a passionate song supporting your team or a funny song insulting the mags, there are so many better songs 2500 fans could have "blasted out" it's shit. And now that we are doing well its just pointless and none sensicle. People only sang it cos we were doomed at one point.

Just imagine 31k singing it in the last mins of Wembley...

Hmmm......what a dream.

Saying that mind, Gonna Be Alright was f***ing outstanding against the Mags, the clapping and noise was electric[DOUBLEPOST=1391463658][/DOUBLEPOST]

It was f***ing outstanding. Gus has said himself that he likes it, that's good enough for me.

wtf

It means different things to me than the don't worry chant. I never used to like the don't worry chant as it was the wrong time to sing it, when we were dropping like a stone, with no sign that things actually would be alright. It is very appropriate now though and sounded class at old trafford and Saturday. Things can only get better, to me means that now you have safc under your skin and found them, life/things can only get better, for them being a part of your life. Thats just my take on it anyway, the two chants mean totally different things imo.
