My laptop is on its last legs. Thinking about getting a tablet (10 inch) to replace it. I basically need it for surfing the internet and watching football (I usually stream from Star Streams).

Is streaming with a tablet the same quality as a laptop (on obviously a smaller screen)? Any recommendations from those who use tablets for football?

f***ing kidding aint ya ? i have tried for months man , even put xbmc in a few months ago with the sportsdevil add on mate, nowt just cant get the streams no matter what i do

Hmm. I have only used premier ad
Live on our lasses galaxy.

Works fine on my Nexus, which I assume runs the same software as yours?

firstrow works fine, at least it did last Xmas when I last tried it.
its f***ing impossible mate, every time you hit something it takes you to a bookies site, i gave up ages ago , although i would like a fix as i am away next sat & would like to watch the game

Just wait for a minute, then hit the "x" and its fine. Exactly the same as on a laptop. Its easy man!

Ive never managed to watch a stream on the iPad it doesn't support flash.
There are different browsers that will help with that. Skyfire was the one I used to use.

What site are you trying to watch footy on? If it's a subscription channel they should have links where you can view them on mobile devices?

Sum vision cyclone voyager 2 is what I've got and its great for all that type of stuff

I've got a sum vision cyclone, not sure what model though. I've never been able to get it working. Do you watch it on the tablet or can you output to the tele? Mine's got a HDMI out port. At the beginning of the season I was debating scrapping Sky and using the tablet to stream instead but ended up giving it up as a bad job.

I normally just try the links on football streaming info but without flash they don't work. I'll try the skyfire browser both you and dan the man recommend it, thanks.
