Dinnington through to Kingston park around the back of the airport. At night.

Start at Quebec, along the tops through Esh Village, passed the New Board Inn to just before Ushaw College, down the hill and into the back road to New Brancpeth across the little bridge and ford.

Then turn right towards Brandon and when you get to the sharp left hander, do a right and then the back road to Brancpeth.

It has everything, jumps, water twists and turns and was mint in my MG Metro when i was a kid.

The B6277 or B6278 north from Barnard Castle, all the way to Hexham.

End of thread. FACT

^ probably this ^

Honourable mentions to the Middleton to Brough road B6276, Haydon Bridge to Alston A686, the Military Road B6318 and the St Johns Chapel to Langdon Beck roads.

All superb, all guaranteed to melt your brakes

No mate, didn't explain properly. You go from the A69 just before Haydon Bridge and go over Hartside. Some great roads for getting the best out of a car. (If you like that sort of thing)
If you like a giggle, and don't like bikers, go to Alston and watch the plod pull the bikers into the local nick after nabbing them tanking up Hartside Pass on a bank holiday weekend.

The A686 love that road. Always take it when we go camping.

Burdon Lane is spot great for a quick blast. I used to drive it everyday on my way to work from Bowburn to Dewhirst in Hendon.

The A696 up and over the Carter Bar is class.

There are loads of great driving roads in the North East. I miss those drives. Florida is flat as a pancake as boring as hell everything is straight as an arrow.

This. I live right at the start of it just outside Haydon bridge.

Military Road up in Northumberland just for the 'roller caster effect'

Best bits trying to get four wheels off ground at same time while leaving balls and stomach behind.:oops:
