There are likely to be several disruptions to the blogs this week while the blog database is ported to a new server.

With any luck these should last no more than an hour at a time.

The blog database has now been moved to one of the new servers.

The move appears to have been successful but if you experience any problems please send an email to roger2 (AT) readytogo net 

I will be moving the database for the blogs to a new server soon.

Don't be surprised if the blogs go missing for a few hours or they seem a little slower than normal for a while.

 I will try and keep the disruption to a minimum.

There are known problems with new users signing up. The link in the verification email is incorrect.

Please do not attempt to register as a new user until further notice.

The software driving the blogs will be updated sometime today (Thursday) so expect a little downtime.

If you experience problems using the blogs after this, please either use the Help link in your control panel to let me know about the problem, or if you can't even get in there, post the details on the Blog Help Forum

Its mainly a bugfix release and there have been some changes to the editor as well but you shouldn't see an awful lot of difference.

Further to the last message I have had to temporarily disable the moblogging feature.

If you submit any entries via email or from your mobile phone they will be lost.

The normal service will be restored as soon as possible.

RTG is currently under an email attack.

You may experience problems or delays if you submit your blog entries from your mobile phone or via email using the Moblog feature.

We were invaded by spammers from Ukraine earlier today.

Sorry about that, the posts have now been deleted and the users banned.

The problems processing payments in £££ have now been corrected and the correct price of £10 has been re-instated for upgrading blogs to the full featureset.

All RTG Servers are running normally

A technical problem is preventing payment for Blog Hosting in British Pounds via Paypal.

Until this can be corrected the usual £10 payment has been suspended and the fee will be $15 (at existing exchange rates this should work out slightly cheaper).
