I'm sure the people of Northern Ireland aren't in the least bit annoyed with their ignominious omission, what with their noted easy-going magnanimity towards issues of nationality.

you are a bastion of fact - I've heard it tell experienced and high profile lawyers bow down to your knowledge.

And as neither Alan (http://www.olympics.org.uk/beijing2008/AthleteProfile.aspx?id=6777), Richard (http://www.olympics.org.uk/beijing2008/AthleteProfile.aspx?id=6779) or Wendy (http://www.olympics.org.uk/beijing2008/AthleteProfile.aspx?id=6808) - who should take particular praise for only really taking up cycling 'to be with her husband' i.e. 'for a laugh' - and she got to compete in Bejing - or their families seemed bothered about it, is it worth the effort?
