dogs in lampshades - always funnyThursday, November 16, 2006
The work boredom continues, with no real sign of letting up for the minute.  I'm doing research at the minute, trawling through flickr for images for various future projects.  next page, next page, oo useful, download, next page, next page.
Lead artist has suggested some textures I could do that will be useful, they aren't particularly interesting 9apart form a brick texture) but hey, it's something to do I suppose.
Waitrose was packed again, I unleashed a fart as I was picking up a basket.  It kept on going so I just had to weave through various aisles in the fruit and veg section to shake it off and be free from any blame.  If the past couple of days to go are anything to go on, it will have been fucking vile.  But, pensioners lose their sense of smell as they get older don't they?  So no harm done.  Sure Waitrose has changed the type of rice they use in their egg fried rice, it all tastes too microwave uncle ben.  With those perfectly formed, weirdly solid rice grains.  The past couple of weeks have seen a noticeable reduction in the amount of egg in there too.  Plenty of fucking peas but it's the egg that makes it.  I am currently trying to contain another horrible gust of arse gas in my seat.  tricky work.
Did fuck all last night.  Watched that heston blumenthal thing with my flatmate.  Made me feel a little sick some of, especially, oops, that fart was a little too loud, especially the 14 week old meat.  brrrr, they go for words like 'aged' when they really mean 'partially rotted'.  I tried to watch a little bit of the england friendly but I lost interest in about 5 minutes.  I'm having  a tough task deciding which book to read next, I've started one and I'm not keen on it so far, may change it for something more fetching and come back to it later.  It sounds like interesting subject matter but I'm not keen on his writing style.
Can't decide whether to bother going in to london to see some lads I haven't seen for ages on friday night.  I know I should go but I'm such a lazy cunt I'm just not sure if I can bothered to.

pensioner's sense of smell improves with age - its a natural compensation for their reduced ability to see.

Your fart has probably got them mainlining Werthers Originals and Extra Strong Mints.

I hope you're happy.
