So begins another day. Desperately sick of this place at the minute. Yesterday included more arguments over scheduling of this animation. Everyone doing their own posturing over how no-one understands the work involved in whatever section. So tiresome, the couldn't organise running a fucking bath. Only my produced talks sense but no-one listens to him. They seem to thrive on the conflicting issues and problems rather than just thinking it's an exciting project. Just popped my headphones on while they squablled away like teenagers. Don't know why they bother with animation stuff, we are really good at print stuff and it makes us hods of profit, so why not stick to that? they seem compelled to have to get into animation even though every animation we've done has gone hideously over budget and over schedule and come close to fucking the company totally. But what do I care, I'm barely involved with animation stuff. Although I'd like to get an animation job where I had a chance to do a proper matte painting, done a couple before and they are ace, basically just painting up (on a computer) a photo-real background. really challenging but it's one of the few times I feel like a proper artist, rather than an artworker. However pretentious that sounds.
