tastless grapes, why are they all so big these days? I want the tiny zingy ones.Tuesday, October 24, 2006
The day is ticking by, I'm retouching a motorbike today.  A fairly boring evening all told, had a good natter with my dad on the way home, his next contract will possibly be in london, that would be canny, would be good to meet me dad for a pint during the week.
I did a fair amount of reading last night but then couldn't resist tuning in to hells kitchen usa.  I watche dit with grim fascination that such a thing was popular when I first bumped in to it on the telly,, but it has drawn me in.  Mainly because there was a vile woman on it and I just wanted to make sure she didn't win it.
Christ, lad next to me is using his nail to scrape the stuck on shite from his Benjy's panini and sucking it off and going 'mmmm mmm'.  He was tunelessly whistling (is there any other kind?) a minute ago.  I relieved tension by typing even harder on my keyboard.
Thankfully she was booted off last night.  But I'd be lying if I made out I won't be tuning in next week as a consequence.
It was lovely wwhen I went to bed and sat reading my book with the rain pissing down outside.  I turned my light off and was drifting to sleep when I heard the thunder.  It just felt so, well, safe, I guess.  I had an absolutely corking nights sleep, one of those whee you wake up and just think 'that was fucking brilliant' before springing out of bed.  All the rain meant there was a massive puddle at the end of the drive so I had to hitch my trousers up and carefully walk through.  Some of the trees down the end of the road were very black, due to the rain, and mostly leafless.  Looked very sinister.
a tube gossip entry which made me chuckle today:-
"4. I don't think you can class Greggs as a patisserie."

Fucking mad eh?  In 5 billion years our galaxy will collide with Andromeda apparently.  Top stuff.  I've decided that in my spare time in here I'm going to paint up a galaxy, as I think it will be a nice wee project and should look pretty.

I had a good shit today.

HUMAX PVR's really are the real deal to being able to watch waht you want without being tied to the tele for certain times of the day.
