So, what have I done this weekend then eh? Hmmm, very little really. Had a canny night out last night, just into one of my favourite pubs, The George (I think it is actually called Ye GEorge Inn, but I'll be fucked if I'm referring to it like that) in Beckenham, and had myself a pleasant evening sat in one of the big leather armchairs. Wondered at what age do you start tucking things in? I'm sure it will happen to me one day but I wonder how you come to think 'Nope, I'll be tucking the top into the trousers tonight, ooo, and that black M&S belt on display will look just smashing'. Saw Scooter (I'm sure I will have mentioned Scooter the dog before) as I was about to leave and there was another Jack Russelly type dog who was in as well at the bar, gave him a wee stroke. Off to the gym this morning, that was canny, had a pop on the handbike for the first time. Set a pacer thing after hitting buttons at random until something almost right appeared. I absolutely fucked myself trying to beat a little LCD bar, funny how something as stupid as that can get you so competitive. Wandered up to Crab Hill in the afternoon and sat on the grass reading my book, fell asleep for a bit. There were some people flying stunt kites, one made an annoying flapping noise. i felt a little uncomfortable sitting there, fearing the kite would plunge into my head at a rate of knots and push my skull into mybrain in some sort of comical tragic accident. An advert has just been on telly for some road trip where fran cosgrove, paul dannan and callum fucking best travel across america or something. If ever there was a time when a missile should appear out the distance and pummel a car into the tarmac, that would be it. ITV wonders why they are losing viewers by the bucketload, hardly surprising when you are commissioning that sort of hateful fucking cuntcast. My flatmate is watching the telly and just saw an advert for Nokia saying 'music gets you talking' featuring a couple sat at dinner with nothing to say to each other when his phone comes out with Shabba as a ringtone sothey start laughing and chatting. I can't even be bothered to comment on that, all it deserves is a sigh. *sigh*
