Picked my french friend up when she arrived and went back and had a long chat about stuff by at my place. philosophy, religion, politics and the standard stuff. Very enjoyable. She's off into london on her todd today, feel a bit guilty about that but I can't take time off right now. Then off to the south coast tonight so that will be canny.
Sat in the car and watched two collared doves in the middle of mating display on the roof. The bigger male kept progressing closer towards her and then every so often he would bow his head and quite smoothly raised his tail into the air in a dance like motion. She flirted a bit then backed off and flew onto another bit of roof, he followed though. Went behind a tree so I couldn't see what happened next. Reminded of the two pigeons that used to frequent our garden when I was a kid. Quite originally named them Peter and Paul and was amazed when they started playing piggybacks one day and wondered at the time why my mam was less impressed by this feat. Only dawned on me years later that they obviously weren't a peter and paul and they weren't playing piggybacks.
lifts broken again today as well as most of yesterday, for once the builders aren't to blame.
I had a shit nights sleep on my settee, very rubbish indeed. I feel ok now but I think as the day progresses I shall get steadily more knackered.
Looks like I have one execution of my electricity approved 'daz' loved it. His name is Darren as well, so I can write that on mails and avoid the cringeworthy 'daz'. Spoke to him on the phone yesterday though and he seems a nice chap. Just anther two executions to go. One of a field of electricity round a rugby ball and the other is player diving with electricity arcing from his hand to the ball. Good portfolio stuff.
