A man with an absolutely perfect afro in the street.Friday, July 14, 2006
Christ, what a couple of days today and yesterday have been.  Have been working my sweet little cheeks off trying to get this games outsource project finished, haven't worked so hard in, well, ages.  Almost done though....almost.
Popped into Benjy's downstairs for a snadwich as I couldn't be fucked going anywhere else.  I really wanted a jacket potato.  The girl with very poor english behind the counter told me they weren;t ready but if I waited 5 minutes, they would be.  So I agree and am left milling around Benjy's looking at nothing in particular.  I knew nothing was going to materialse.  What do I opt for?  Yeah, I'm going to make a call on my phone, I'll just step outside where it's loads noisier, cos that's what people do.  Actually started talking to myself then strolled out of view.  I then decide to walk all the way up the hill and go to pret instead.  Got a nice cheese and roast peppers sandwich (little too much moisture in it) and a soup.  They always tell you where all the condiments are when it's unlikely I'll need them and if I did it would be pretty obvious where they are.  Always nod and smile like they have imparted some great secret.  For some odd reason I then feel obliged ot use the condiment counter, just to make them feel better or something.  yeah, I really needed a miniture packet of salt for my dinner....  Walk down the road and plan to stay on the other side of the road to avoid anyone seeing me from Benjy's.  But I forget, and cross over.  Realising my error I walk past benjy's looking in completely the other direction, in case the girl with poor english sees me walking past with my Pret bag.  What a fucking soft shite....pathetic.
The shitty little italian up the way has tried putting  aload of tables out on to the path.  Who fucking wants to eat outside on Bromley High street?  They've made a token effort of popping some pot plants around but it certainly wouldn't blank out the roadworks 50 yards away.
Soup is ok, tastes slightly odd.
Think I may go down to a wildlife park next to canterbury tomorrow, chill with some lovely animals.  As I've stated before, I fucking love animals.  They have the works at this place, wonder if you can buy food for the giraffes?  Always wanted to give some food to a giraffe, with their big black tongues, would make me chuckle.  They have a bunch of big cats there too, remember going round Barcelona zoo when I was younger and every one of the big cats hissed at me, and only me.  The gorilla was staring me out in there as well.
I aint going out with work tonight, there'll just be lots of bitching and my lead artists ego dominating everything.  He keeps telling people 'well I'll be off soon' but no one is paying the slightest bit of notice so I think it's getting to him.
The lumps of herb in this soup are really chewy.
I shall wait till my dinner is over to have a poo.
