| Why on earth did I walk all the way to Waitrose to use the cashpoint when I know fine well the sandwich selection was shit. and shit it was. So I walked all the way back to fucking Benjy's. On the way I saw a old man walking along bent over at pretty much 90 degrees. He was wearing a hat, it really isn't hat weather. The young girl in Benjys really does have a very poor grasp of english, or maybe it's just me. I got all flustered today when she said they had no jacket spuds. But they did. Then the trauma of trying to get a cheese pasty off her. Don't like social situations like that, I get all flustered, When she said they had no potatoes I just mumbled a few meaningless words then hastily grabbed a panini to heat before she corrected herself and I just had to stop my gibberish and say 'sorry, got all flustered there'. Felt like a right twat. They left some shards of foil on the bottom of the potato. I need a shit after that large dinner, should I finish this blog first or shit and continue. ooo, I'll go and shit otherwise this could be dangerous. That's better. Thankfully it is dinner so there was no-one in there and I could use the main cubicle as it was nice and clean and free. The other cubicle is weird, the sides are a lot closer in and they have some kind of miniture shitter which is just a bit odd. It's like the whole cubicle has been shrunk to 70% size of the other one. Can't be arsed going out with work people tonight, they'll be bitching about this animation project....no ta. I think I will be very bored this afternoon. | ||

| A honey bee will not fly much higher than the height of any obstacle in it's path. The bee will learn to fly straight out from its colony at high speed and be most surprised if it strikes an new obstacle such as you standing in the way. It may lash out and you will receive a sting so be careful when walking close to the front of a busy beehive.
Mating drones will fly up to 30mtrs above ground to find a queen and can go much higher if warm rising thermal air carries them so. (http://www.bbka.org.uk/faq.php) The only source I could find that even suggested I could get to know about the height for wasps was a BIO on-line service which I had to pay for. So I've texted a phone service to ask - I'll keep you posted. Edited by harrygilwood on Friday, June 30, 2006 at 12:29 PM

| I see them outside my window, 6 floors up, quite regular. they must just be carried up by the draft up the side of the building. Hope they don't get vertigo when they break free of the draft. | |||

| if they have an 'oooooooohhhhhh shhhhhhiiiiit' moment as they plummet to the ground after falling off the thermal - then right themselves just before they land. I bet young wasps and bees do that just for kicks.
Still no update from the fact phone service. Edited by harrygilwood on Friday, June 30, 2006 at 12:30 PM

| It's very much hat weather, especially at lunchtime as you can get burnt. It, of course, depends on the type of hat and I'm going to assume for your sake that the hat in question was an autumn / winter hat. | |||

| I remember my grandad sitting on the beach in weymouth in a suit and tie while I sped about in just shorts. Once I think it got hot enough for him to unbutton his top shirt button. But when he got up to go to the pub at midday he did it up again. | |||
