really don't like the cheap gel they use in barbersThursday, June 29, 2006
Seems that woman was killed in bromley yesterday, apparently it was a robbery so that would explain the amount of coppers dispatched to the scene.  Watched the last two episodes of Band Of Brothers last night, cried like the big jessy I am at the scene where they find the concentration camp.  Had a hair cut this morning in the barbers across the road, I always get lumbered with the old boy who has rather juddery hands.  It certainly doesn't fill you with confidence, especially when he cracks out the cut-throat razor "please don't let him have a judder and take that thing into the back of my neck unleashing a torrent of blood".  Still, I needed it lopped off.  I was considering getting the bus through to Hayes where there is an ace barbers, they even do that thing where they light some soaked cotton wool and flick it at your ears to remove the wee hairs on your ears.  But I couldn't be arsed.
Saw the lovely cat from next door this morning, I've seen him a few times, but never close enough to stroke.  I let him have a sniff of my hand and he was very friendly, purring away then straight on to his side in a request to stroke his slightly portly belly.  I gave him some fuss but couldn't make it too long as I had a bus to catch, he looked quite pissed off when I had to leave.  Saw a squirrel with a bald tail, except for a tiny bit at the end.  Looked quite comical.
Bromley is full of MP's at the minute as it's some by-election after the MP died or something.  According to the bloke in the barbers, charles kennedy was there yesterday and doesn't look as ginger as he does on telly.  And he's small.
Thankfully I am now off the animation project so I can just pop my headphones on and ignore it all kicking off around me....topper!

Band of BrothersThursday, June 29, 2006
When I got home last night Mr P was watching Band Of Brothers. He turned it off when I came in (probably because I was talking to him) so I still can't say I've ever seen it ever. I will watch it one day. Probably.
