I can see :-
an old 1960's, maybe 1970's multi-storey car park, about 5 storeys high, pebble dashed concrete sides.
A dreary looking school, not a comprehensive though.  has a badly thought out extension out the back.  Original building is reasonably pretty in a run-of-the-mill Victorian way but they have a 70's looking white box stuck on the back.  horrific.
Just seen a white pigeon swooping down.  Don't see too many of them.  Saw a pigeon with a huge growth on its foot the other day, like a club foot.  Looked  a bit tragic him limping around.
The top half of the building that has Habitat at the base.  They have a sort of big cylinder made from glass bircks on one corner.  Don't know why, doubt you can go in it.  Has coloured lighting in it when dark.  Again, i don't know why, it's too high and directly above the pavement for the pedestrians to see.  even then, they would hardly be over-awed by a glass brick cylinder with some purple lamps stuck inside of it.  theres a small glass pyramid canopy in the centre of the building.  Wonder what it's for?  Maybe for the offices below to hold their meetings in.  Might have a reasonable view out of it if the big air con block wasnt stuck right next to it.
Cn normally see the higher buildings in Croydon, 8 miles away.  the glorious Nestle building ('welcome to East Croydon, home of Nestle UK' is what is on the signs on the way into croydon station.  it's just a bit fucking horrid concrete tower in the middle of town) and also the NLA tower, which I used to work in.  resembles a tower of 50p's.  can't see them today though, too hazy.
Can see the road where that house collapsed next to the train line and caused the chaos with the Eurostar trains.
A freakishly high tree.
The corner of the building that is now TK Maxx at the base.  Very odd building, all angular concrete blocks and small slit windows, looks like an abortive gerry anderson sketch.  It even has a connecting walkway corridor the building across the sidestreet.  You don't see enough connecting walkways between buildings, they are cool.
If you haven't already guessed, I'm still bored.

Connective walkwaysTuesday, June 13, 2006
There are some houses near where I live that have suspended rooms above their drives which I'm intrigued by. They look quite cool but a little unsettling (although your floor being suspended above a bit of outside isn't really any different to it being suspended above a bit of inside).

Not really a connective walkway at all but in the same vein and if you're that bored you won't mind the digression.

Do you want to play a game?

very intriguing. theres a good connecting walkway on a building up round covent garden, it's easily missable but out the back a walkway goes across a sidestreet to another building. it's all designed dead cool and that too
