Pretty much sorted for the wedding now, finally found a ring for myself today. Opted for a nice simple thin band, I'd tried some of the chunkier numbers on but they were all a bit too 'Grrrrr, massive hunk of metal for man' type things and looked ridiculous on my slender fingers. Also got some shoes sorted and some DVDs. As I was waiting to be served I noticed they had Cronos for sale. It's a film from a few years ago, mexican or spanish, I forget, that is basically an alternative take on the vampire myth. I watched it years ago late on channel 4 one night and loved it and haven't watched it since so I'm looking forward to watching it again. The fella serving me seemed impressed that I'd picked it as he loved it. I walked past a girl who had one of those fuck awful tshirts emblazoned with 'don't touch what you can't afford'. She was fat and ugly.
Saw the nurse from the hospice this morning, she was canny and had a nice chat about various things that had been happening to me since we last saw each other. I have a member of the 'spiritual care team' coming out tomorrow, in other words, a chaplain. I'm quite looking forward to unloading on some other poor unfortunate, I hope he's ready for a chat about quantum mechanics, the multiverse and my dream where I looked upon the whole of the universe. Poor fucker.
I just had a shit that was green. Iron tablets can make shit all sorts of crazy shades.
A vet at my mams work has been talking to her old doctor friends on the continent and apparently there are two big cheese doctors at some posho clinics in paris and zurich who are very interested in my case and want the CT scans ASAP. I'm quite intrigued by this. I was going to pick up the disk with the scans on tomrrow but for some fucking reason it takes the NHS 3 fucking days to copy a few files to a CD. 3days! IT'S MY LIFE YOU'RE PLAYING WITH HERE YOU CUNTBLISTERS! Hopefully the big nobs will still be interested in my case by the time I get the scans through.
