Had a stressful couple of days in the office. well, I say stressful, it hasn't been for me personally but other people. We've been doing some pretty tasty advertising posters and one of the lads was in charge of sorting one of them. And it was shit what he produced. The management people absolutely tore it apart. I was cringing for all I was worth in the other corner. He's a very nice lad and I was worried he was going to burst out crying. After it was all over I think he went and cried in the toilets as he came back with terribly red eyes. I do feel for him but it could have lost us a very important client so it wasn't done out of spite or anything. He's a really nice lad but almost one of those people who is annoyingly nice (he's also the loud eater who I have mentioned on the board a few times). He's managed to get lumbered with a lass who already had 2 kids and then proceeded to get pregnant with him a year and a half into their relationship. So he has enormous pressure at home as she isn't working and the lad is only 25. I'm told it's his first girlfriend, something I can easily believe. It's terribly sad but you can't have any sympathy in an industry such as this, I fear he'll be out before too long. But on the brightside, our lead artist is redoing his work and is getting me to do some funs tuff. been painting up a las vegas skyline, which is great fun. with all the neon signage and that...topper.
