| Ahoy hoy. I haven't been up to much, predictably. Work was absolutely fucking tedious yesterday, I really hate those days. Having to spend it looking at the web while pretending not to look at the web. I really do wish I was a freelancer in those situations. Now work on? No problem, I'll sit in my lounge and have a read, give me a bell when more comes in. But I have to sit here until fucking 6 o'clock while bored rigid. All I can think is 'you're wasting your life sitting here, this time is precious'. My old producer rang me on Sunday, he's setting up his own company and wondered whether I'd be up for some out of hours freelance work. Sounds interesting, although I don't want to do too much as I want time for myself really. But maybe for the future, a good contact to have. Maybe I will go freelance one day. Still work for my current company but amongst others, and that way, when I have nowt on I can use the time properly. Had a very relaxing evening yesterday although I was very tired, I think boredom just takes it out of you more than work does. I was asleep by about half 10. Had a laugh at ITV hopelessly dubbing out the 'cunt' at the start of Shaun of the Dead. They thought 'cocks' was more appropriate. But didn't care about all the fuck and buggers. Noticed someone on the board commented on that bizarre western union advert that features a spring (or it might be a curly phone cord, I dunno) wearing a turban, with the end effect that it just resembles a penis. Glad it wasn't just me who noticed this. I remembered shouting at a cyclist who had almost hit me because he'd ignored a red light, but I can't remember if it was a real incident or a dream. I think it was a dream but I couldn't be certain. I could really fancy a tea right now but there's no way I can be arsed doing 6 fucking teas and coffees or whatever after asking round out of politeness. The work experience girl (she's been here for months) hasn't ever made one yet always gets in on a round | ||
