Enjoy yourself

this weekend if you're in the North East - go to the Baltic and see Mark Titchner's exhition - which is the first exhibition I've seen in a long time that left me feeling impressed and wanting to instill a sense of 'go see this' to other people

If you're in London, you'll have to settle to looking out for 'art on the underground' pictures as one of the current set is one of his.

Go See This Exhibition.

It is very good.

all the baltic things

are free iirc - the sound scape thing is a bit odd, and I wasn't a fan of the other exhibits, but I was very impressed with his pieces. I thought the big installation with the pool very impressive.

meh

Ms HG II and Master HG think most of the exhibitions are 'rubbish'. That said, they enjoyed the sam taylor wood one, the tunnel thing with the slide and the TVs, gormley's people thing, the big cymbals - so its not all been 'pap'. I should learn the titles of the pieces - it'd make for a better critique I'm sure.

I think you should never consider yourself 'below' something - go, if you like it great, and if you don't accept that and go to see something else.

There was a cracking thing on at the glass centre which had a huge rice thing under lit with neon. Splendid
