Didn't get the job I was interviewed for last week

Apparently I didn't have the experience required.  Which would've been clear from my CV would it not?  Had they made this decision long distance, yes I would've been disappointed at not getting an interview but at least I would've saved 2 days holiday and £100 train fare.  Why not say, well you looked okay on paper but you were shite in the interview.  That, at least, I could accept as a valid reason for turning me down   Apparently, I compared favourably to the other candidates( who also didn't get the job ) well whoopey fucking do... damned with faint praise and all that.

Oh well, another one this afternoon.

Total pissboiler

I had a 2nd interview for a job last Monday and am waiting to hear. Though waiting this long, I've kind of come to my own conclusion.

Good luck with the next one.

Sorry to hear that

There's no excuse for that IMHO. As you say, your experience should have been obvious from your CV.
Hope the next one goes well.

Cheers

For your kind words :o)

Edit: I should point out that I've had a further update, and I would've definitely been given the job if I had a Computer Science degree as opposed to a Telecoms one. Thanks. For. That.
