What day is it?

I feel rough.  Still.  I'm not sure whether it's taking me longer to recover from nights out, or whether there's something else to it.  I suspect it's the former as I don't have any other symptons of illness (headaches etc...) although I appear to have developed a coldsore right at the side of my mouth where my top and bottom lips join.  It's irritating as opposed to sore, and (should you use a comma before an and?  I never know) I can feel it all the time.  Work isn't going well today.  I've been correcting errors in the system for most of the morning and it's fairly tedious stuff.  Still it's probably one of the more exciting things to do in SAP and I'll be questioned if it's not done, it being business critical and all that. 

Apart from questions about my general health, I'm in a class mood.  The whole Keane thing has got me excited and with the deadline for transfers approaching, I'm about as optimistic (football wise) as I have been in the last 4 - 5 years   I'm not expecting major changes, but a few intelligent signings and we've got  the makings of a very good (for this level) squad.

I've been married for 3 years now  and in that time I've never bought Jen any clothes.  She always gets toys or games as presents.  I'm git romantic like that.  Today I plan to buy her something from a womans clothes shop.  It's not an experience I'm looking forward to.  I'm going to try and do this with minimum embarrassment.  In an ideal world I try being confident and cocky.  I don't think I can pull it off, with me being neither of those things.  Oh well, 1pm is clothes shop deadline time

with the shopping. I'd be scared if Mr P chose any clothes for me even though I buy them for him all the time.

I'm afraid. I'm going to see if I can get someone from work to be my shopping buddy for tomorrow.

For the first time.As it was her birthday and whilst a Blues Harmonica is what she wanted I had to get her something else.

Happily she loved them, after I'd made all the noises about not being offended if she didn't and leaving the receipt in case she changes her mind. It took me long enough to choose them mind.
