Transport The branch runs 16, 24 or 33 seat coaches to all home games, and we run coaches to some away games, which tend to be the North East & North West games where demand is sufficient and there are tickets available. Obviously being in a rural area it's difficult to arrange pick-ups for everyone, but we do try to accommodate most pick-ups on the A595 between West Cumbria and Carlisle, or along the A69. The usual pick-up points for home games are as follows (times for 3pm kick off): Egremont (10.00) Cleator Moor (10.05) Hensingham - Whitehaven (10.10) Loop Road - Whitehaven (10.15) Mealsgate - A595 (10.45) Carlisle (11.00) other stops by prior arrangement. In Sunderland, the coach parks at the SAFC coach park at the South East corner of the SOL and most of the Branch head off to the Companions Club for some pre-match refreshments. After the game, the coach leaves as soon as the coach park barriers are raised. The cost of the coach to home games depends on how many are travelling, but we anticipate that for the 08/09 season that the cost will be around £14 (£18 for non-members) with reductions for those further along the route.
