RTG Website Problems

Those of you who are early risers will have noticed that the website hasn't always been fully available early in the morning for the last fortnight (or for a large part of last Saturday).

I apologise for this. It has been due to the failure of the Web Server and Database Server to re-connect correctly after the daily backups at 5am (UK time).

I still haven't identified what is causing this and its inconsistent as some days are okay, however I have put some tasks in place to reset things at 5.30am.

Hopefully this will mean that any outages will be restricted to between 5.00 and 5.30 (fingers crossed) until I can determine the cause of the actual problem and correct that.
