SAFC Foundation Charity Auction

The SAFC Foundation are auctioning memorabilia on ebay to raise funds in the Foundation of Light’s Christmas auction.

Items up for grabs include 2013-14 Sunderland AFC home and away shirts signed by more than 20 members of the first-team squad and signed boots donated by Wes Brown, John O’Shea, Steven Fletcher and Adam Johnson.

The auction will end on 17th December 2012 with delivery guaranteed before Christmas for UK residents who pay for items before midday on Wednesday 18th December.

All auction items are listed under seller name foundation_of_light and can be found here.

Phil King, the Foundation of Light’s Head of Commercial said: “Our ebay auctions give fans an opportunity to own unique items from some of their football heroes, whilst helping fund vital sports, health, community and education programmes in their region.

“We’re lucky enough to have some fantastic items this year that would make a fantastic Christmas gift for any Sunderland AFC fan. We’d like to express our thanks to Sunderland AFC and all the players who have donated items to the auction.”

The Foundation of Light is the registered charity of Sunderland AFC which works with more than 42,000 people every year.

The organisation uses the power of football to inspire, involve and educate children, families and adults across the North East through programmes that can improve their lives.

Structurally and financially independent of the football club the organisation relies on fundraising for 90% of project costs.
