Well done

To everybody but the 1st team that is.

Today we have seen Sunderland Women put up a battling performance and being far from disgraced with a 2-1 defeat to Arsenal in the FA Cup Final at Pride Park. They also still stand a chance of promotion to the Premier League if they win their two remaining games.

The Women's reserve team have also done spectacularly well, winning their league with games to spare and remaining undefeated to date.

Meanwhile, back in the mens game we have seen the Academy U18 side and the reserves romp to the top of their respective leagues.

A round of applause for all of the above who can hold their heads up high.
