Worst kept secret revealed

SAFC today announced a sponsorship deal which won't surprise many people.

As widely rumoured, the Irish bookmakers, Boylesports will be the new shirt sponsor from next season having signed a 4 year deal with the club believed to be worth around £2 million/year if Sunderland are riding high in the Premier League (less if we don't perform as well).

Boylesports will also takeover from Ladbrokes as the official SAFC betting partner on the clubs website and at the kiosks in the Stadium.

The deal would appear to be a good one for both parties. Boylesports are relatively unknown in the UK despite being a major bookmaker in Ireland. The SAFC deal should see their profile raised in the UK.
