Jimmy McNab Dies

Former Sunderland defender Jimmy McNab has died aged 66 after a short illness.

McNab will be remembered by many as a hard defender and made over 300 appearances in his 11 years at the club during the late 50's and early 60's before leaving for Preston.

He was given a testimonial at the Stadium of Light in 1999 which younger fans who may not have seen him play originally will have attended and witnessed his brief appearance.
