Fancy Playing at the Stadium of Light?

Ever dream of a dazzling debut for Sunderland? Of hearing the crowd go wild as you step out onto the hallowed turf and lead your team to a thrilling victory? Of course you have…

And thanks to Football Aid, you can now live the dream! The charity is giving you the chance to experience the thrills and spills, highs and lows, controversy and high drama of match day at The Stadium of Light.

Now entering its sixth season, Football Aid has delivered over 250 games on a UK Club, European and National stage, enabling 7000 fans to follow in their footballing heroes’ footsteps and pull on the revered jersey, run through the tunnel and play an adrenaline fuelled 90 minutes at the stadiums graced by their idols. With former Club legends including the likes of Mickey Horswill, Bobby Kerr, Gary Bennett and John Kay captaining and managing the events, it’s a day that lives long in the memory and an opportunity not to be missed!

Whilst experiencing the chance of a lifetime, fans are also contributing significantly to a wide range of deserving charities, locally, nationally and around the globe, with the funds raised through participation. With Football Aid’s multi-beneficiary grant award scheme, funds raised go to Diabetes research, education and management and are also shared with charities nominated for funding by the Clubs. To date, Football Aid and Sunderland have awarded over £10,000 to the SAFC Foundation with last years grant helping fund the second year of their Family Learning through Football project – an initiative developed to increase the capability of the most disadvantaged parents to support their children’s learning whilst raising their own skills levels and confidence. It also increases the capacity of local families to take up education and training and improves the educational attainment of children.

So, don’t let this opportunity slip through your fingers! Visit www.footballaid.com and take part in Football Aid’s online auction for your chance to play on your field of dreams. But, you have to hurry! Positions are starting to close in the next few weeks so bid now to be a part of the ultimate football experience!
