2005/06 Squad numbers released

Sunderland's squad numbers for the 05/06 season have been confirmed.

Mart Poom has lost the coveted no 1 shirt to Kelvin Davis, while Kevin Kyle has lost the equally coveted striker's no 9 shirt to newcomer Jon Stead. Julio Arca retains his customary no 33.
