New signing gets international call up

Sunderland's newest signing, Anthony le Tallec, has received an international call-up.

le Tallec, 20, has been selected for the French U21 squad to face Italy in a friendly on Tuesday 16th August.

However the youngster will NOT face Liverpool when we face them only four days later; le Tallec is only with us on loan so cannot face his 'home' club under current Premier League rules.
