GOING BY CAR?

From Sunderland take the A690 then A1/A1(M) southbound
Stay on until the road joins the M1 southbound (just after the A64 turnoff)
At jcn 42 of the M1, take the M62 westbound
At jcn 18 of the M62, take the M60 westbound
At jcn 11 of the M60, re-join the M62 westbound
At jcn 4 of the M62, leave the motorway for the A5080 Bowring Park Rd
After 1.7miles take the A5058 Queens Drive
After 1.3 miles take the A5049 Mill Bank
Turn right onto A5089 Belmont Road
Turn right onto Hawkesworth Street
Straight across onto Gertrude Road
Left onto Anfield Road – and you’re there.

The journey should take you just over three hours.

Warning! There are a lot of ‘residents only’ parking schemes in the area where you need a valid permit for street parking - click here to see a map of the areas covered by residents' parking schemes. Park inappropriately and risk a souvenir parking ticket...

GOING BY TRAIN?

Lime Street Railway Station is two miles from Anfield. A taxi from Lime St. will cost about £4.00 for up to 5 passengers. Buses go from nearby Queen Square Bus Station. On match days use the Merseyrail network to link with the Soccerbus service from Sandhills Station. Train times and ticket prices available online at http://www.nationalrail.co.uk
