Hull City Away Supporters' Guide

RTG’s totally and utterly (we hope) indispensable guide to this season’s away grounds.

THE OPPO – Hull City FC
DATE – Wed 27th July
KO TIME – 7.45pm

THE GROUND – Kingston Communications Stadium, Hull – click here and here for maps of the area - the circle in the middle shows where the ground is.

The stadium is in south-west Hull in the West Park area of the city, close to the main A63 westbound which then meets the M62.

Visiting supporters are accommodated in the North Stand.

Tickets are now on sale.

GOING BY CAR?

- From Sunderland take the A19 southbound.
- Just after Skelton (outskirts of York) leave the A19 and turn left onto the A1237.
- After approx 5 miles take the 2nd exit off the roundabout onto the A64.
- Then take the A1079 to Beverley then follow signs for Humber Bridge and the A164.
- Take A63 signposted Hull City Centre.
- Continue on the A63 under the Humber Bridge. The road continues into the A63 Clive Sullivan Way - turn off just before the flyover, signposted 'Local traffic/infirmary'.
- At the roundabout take the 2nd exit. At the next traffic lights (hospital in front of you) turn left onto A1105 Anlaby Road.
- Continue over the flyover then at the end of the flyover turn right into Walton Street.

GOING BY TRAIN?

The 3.30pm GNER from Newcastle gets you to Doncaster at 4.56pm where you change for the 5.14pm Northern Rail service to Hull, arriving at 6.08pm. BUT....there are no homeward-bound trains that'll get you back the same night - so you either need to book a hotel or find another means of transport!!

SCRAN AND BOOZE

Hull's official website advise that the majority of pubs in the immediate vicinity of the stadium are for home supporters only - particularly the 'Silver Cod' and 'Admiral of Humber' pubs, but that there are plenty of alternatives in Hull centre, a 15 minute walk from the stadium.

LEND US A FIVER I’M OUT OF CASH

There are two ATMs in the KC stadium - otherwise plenty in Hull city centre.

LAST SEASON

Finished 2nd in League One with 86 points - gaining automatic promotion with Luton Town FC to the Championship.
