Sunderland Match on Sunday

Sunderland AFC Women v Manchester City LFC
Academy of Light, 27th March 2pm ko

Those amongst you who are feeling a little starved of real life Mackem footie action over the weekend (or simply those in search of any excuse to avoid the 'in-laws' and put off going to the pub for an extra hour or so), might be interested to know that Sunderland's other table-topping senior side are playing on Easter Sunday.

They face a Manchester side that are fighting off relegation but have had a turn around in form and have strung together a few important wins in recent weeks.

The Black Cats, in contrast, have won 7 in a row and are just 3 wins away from a guaranteed return to the women's top flight.

Entry is free. Supporters with cars are advised to use the Moor Lane entrance/car park.
