Injury news boost ahead of Crewe

Mick McCarthy has had good news about injury worries ahead of Saturday's match at Gresty Road.

Julio Arca, sidelined with a hip injury for the last two games, looks likely to return to action after training at the Academy today, as does Stephen Elliott who missed the game against Burnley with a groin strain.

However Liam Lawrence was sent home ill from training on Wednesday and will have a late fitness test.

A shoulder strain kept Thomas Myhre away from training on Wednesday but he is expected to be available for Saturday's trip to face The Railwaymen.

And right-back Stephen Wright returns after serving his two game ban for accumulating ten yellow cards.
