McCarthy and Oster agree: it's over

Reports today seem to confirm that John Oster's time at Sunderland is drawing to a close.

The Welsh international recently commenced a one-month loan deal at Leeds United, but despite signing a three year deal with Sunderland as recently as this summer, it looks like he could be on his way for good.

The BBC's website is reporting today that Oster and McCarthy have "mutually agreed" that it's time for Oster to move on - but whether that's to Leeds on a permanent basis, or another club, remains to be seen.
