Fancy going to see Sunderland play in the USA... for free?

The sunderland echo highlighted an appeal today by a group of sunderland supporters who need some help in order for them to be able to attent the three matches sunderland will be playing next month in North and South Carolina.

The independent group, who I am happy to say, includes myself, have been planning the trip since the USA tour was announced two months ago, and now only require a driver in order to complete the dream vacation.

"It's a great opportunity" Said Fraser, the organiser of the event. "One fortunate sunderland supporter is going to get a once in a lifetime chance to see sunderland play all three fixtures in America."

The driver chosen, who must be willing to make the substantial 6-7 hour journey from New York to the three matches in the southern United states, and drive in between games over the course of at least a week, will recieve a free plane ticket to and from the United states, as well as private accomodation in the hotels around the three matches sunderland will be playing.... as well as tickets to the matches themselves!

"Make no mistake, it's going to be a working holiday." Continued Fraser. "But it's also going to be a lot of fun. Yes I suppose we could have hired a driver in the United states, but we put our heads together and decided to take a chance and bring someone over from sunderland. That way we are almost guaranteed another sunderland supporter who will bring some more life to the tour."

"We had the opportunity and decided that its was better if we got someone with pure red and white in their blood, it was the least we could do."
