New Kit Sponsors Confirmed

Diadora, have announced a new 6-year kit sponsorship deal with SAFC

Based in Treviso in the San Marco region of Italy, Diadora began making high quality sporting apparel in 1954, and have continued to develop the brand ever since.

Diadora currently has technical sponsorship agreements with a variety of football clubs and federations across the globe, including Italian giants Roma, Palmeiras of Brazil, Russia’s Dynamo Moscow, Glasgow Rangers, Leeds United and the Scottish national sides.

The SAFC partnership will see Diadora supply the Club with new high quality technical home and away kit along with training wear, starting from next season.

Massimo Barzaghi, MD of Diadora commented: “We are delighted with the new deal and looking forward to building a long and prosperous partnership with Sunderland. The Club and their fans epitomise everything we believe in at Diadora, with their passion for their team, their total commitment and desire for success.

John Fickling said: “Diadora is a brand steeped in heritage and strong on quality. They fully understand the ethos, needs and potential of Sunderland AFC, and it is great to be embarking on a new partnership with them.”

The new training range will be available to supporters in mid July, the new home kit will launched on Saturday 7th August.
