USA Coach tour for supporters announced

The Sunderland Supporters in the USA have organised a coach tour for the entire USA 3-match tour this summer, leaving from New York City on the 13th July and returning on the 22nd July.

The tour will include the Raleigh game on the 14th of July, the Charleston game on the 17th July and Wilmington on Wednesday 21st July. Match tickets, as well as accomodation will be included in the price, although a special group rate of around 30 dollars a day for the bus alone has been quoted*. En-rout Drink will also be supplied courtesy of SAFCSA USA.

Spaces on the Bus are limited so anyone who is interested should email the organiser for a quote as soon as possible at:

As a foot note, for my part I also hope to have the trip sponsored with an eye to raise money for charity; in particular the 'Arts for Children Chartity' which is based in New York city (hopefully as well an as of yet unnamed charity in Sunderland, although this is yet to be confirmed). We aim to raise money for these chairities through sponsorship, and if we can raise enough then we also hope to be able to reduce the cost of the Coach per-person significantly.

If this works then I will upate this section of RTG will the latest news (anyone who wants to know more about this or thinks that they could help out should PM me, Adam, on the message board).

Hopefully participating in this road-trip will all be for a good cause!!

With any luck I will see you all on the USA Road trip and at the matches!

-Adam

*For those who do not know the states very well I can confirm this to be of very reasonable value considering the distances involved (bear in mind that this is holiday season), we anticipate a reduced rate for group hotel bookings and the six hour journey from New York will be broken up with stops on the way.

Current exchange rate: DOLLAR TO POUND
