Cooper: Wolf becomes a Canary!

On-loan Wolves midfielder Kevin Cooper could make his debut tomorrow - for Norwich!

Cooper was last night recalled from his loan spell at Sunderland by Wolves and has quickly moved on, joining the Canaries who top the First Division.

The 29-year-old, who moved to the Stadium of Light in a three-month loan deal in January, did not start a game during his time on Wearside.

The form of Julio Arca and George McCartney meant there was no place in Mick McCarthy's side for the left-sider, and since Arca's injury John Oster has been played on that side.

It was unlikely that Cooper would have featured before his loan spell at Sunderland expired, so Wolves have used their right to recall the experienced winger.

Cooper moves to Carrow Road until the end of the season and could play against Crystal Palace tomorrow.

The former Stockport and Wimbledon man played for just 13 minutes in his time at Sunderland, coming on in their defeat at Millwall in January.
