Meet the players!

Sunderland AFC is inviting season-ticket holders to apply for tickets for another "Meet the players" evening at the Stadium of Light.

The event, to be held in association with Metro Radio and the Sunderland Echo, will be held on the evening of Tuesday 25 November, as a way of thanking supporters for their loyalty.

Tickets are free and are being offered to season ticket holders only on a first come, first served basis - only 175 tickets are available. Those fans who were lucky enough to attend the last session with Mick McCarthy will however go to the back of the queue to give other fans the chance to meet the players.

Jason McAteer and Paul Thirlwell will captain two teams in a 'Question of Sport' style quiz and Metro FM's Simon Crabtree will be there to act as a compere for the quiz and put supporters' questions to the players.
